Taiwan!!!

    Hii :)
Everything on the plane was Hello Kitty!
Even the food!!!
Now we are finally in Taiwan!!! I haven't really been writing for a while because there has been no time. So, Its so hot here!! It feels like I'm going to melt every time I go outside.
Cakes!
This is how they had their honey at breakfast :D
So the first five nights we were at this 4.5 star hotel and man that hotel was awesome!!! It was like modern art style and it had the most awesome pool ever! We were there every day swimming and the first night we went there, it was Sunday and they had a pool party and they had a DJ, but the only thing they played there was dubstep... I mean we didn't really spend that much time at the hotel because we visited places like Taipei 101 (tower) and also this place that people used as a dance practice place and the guys and girls dancing there totally reminded me of a few people from my old class and I got sad...
We got our stuff on Thursday and that day our house was a huge mess. Our house is quite big. We have a big patio and like three balconies. We live in the 13th and 14th floors of our apartment and I love it!
They like eating chicken feet...
Our view outside in the hotel :)

Yesterday, I visited my new school and man, its HUGE! I'll never be in time for class because I'll get lost every time. And yay, there are 2200 students there... Also I got a school laptop from there and its really cool, even though the teachers can see everything you do on it... Then after that I started working on the new desks and chairs we got from Ikea and I was working on them for the whole day basically. And BTW when we were in Ikea I got to have meatballs and mashed potato!!!! I ate like 20 meatballs... :)

So then I thought that I had gotten an allergic reaction from the wood of the furniture, because my throat was hurting, but no! Today I woke up with fever and my throat was hurting even more and my nose was stuffy...
Some might get it.. :)
Little cutie :D
Hopefully I'll get better before school starts...  In the evening we visited the night market and they had the best mangoes ever!!! They had so many different fruits that looked delicious! Then when we left, it started raining and now I'm losing my voice...
Now we're quite settled in Taiwan and also our neighbors have the cutest puppy ever!!!! Always if we come to the patio that we have, it comes to the fence wanting us to pet it!
Man, those fruits were good!
Byee :DD

Japanese Onsen

Heyy,
These few days have been really AWESOME! And I haven't been able to post because of problems with the wifi...
Our menu :D
We have been to two different onsen in Kurokawa and Yufuin. An onsen is a Japanese spa where the water comes from hot fountains, underground. It was amazingly fun. We got these robes called yukatans that look kind of like kimonos so we could just walk around in them. The baths were really nice and warm and we were just bathing all the time. The dinner there was really interesting... They just brought more and more Japanese food on the table and it felt like it would never end... But most of it was actually quite good, but some of it was kind of... I think I just have to get used to it. :)

In Yufuin, we actually just found the onsen by accident and we were the only customers. There was just this old lady keeping the place up, and it was really fun, but also kinda creepy... We had a small outdoor bath in our room, but it was impossible to be there because the water was BOILING hot.

Me and the waterfall (don't mind the horrid rainjacket...)
On Thursday we visited like three temples and this waterfall and it was really beautiful! It was raining, but it made it even better because there was also some fog. Its quite hard to describe...
The area we were driving through had had lots of landslides. It was creepy and I was totally scared that we would like die or something... Also the area was full of volcanoes and like a few weeks before we came there, one big one had just errupted... Yay -__-

Yesterday we were in Osaka. The city is really big and we were looking for a good restaurant for a long time and when we finally found a nice one, we got to wait an hour for our food... -_- And for our appetizer, we ordered some shrimp thing and garlic bread and of course they totally forgot about them so we got the main course first, the shrimp after that and the garlic bread last... -__- I mean the food was good, but it took so long that i probably wouldn't go there again...
We walked on this street that was just filled with restaurants and they had these HUGE advertisement thingys hanging on top of their doors and there was a huge hand holding a sushi, two blowfish, a dragon, a crab etc. I liked it :)

Today we came back to Tokyo and we went to the same Thai restaurant as we went to before because my parents love the food so much, but today my favourite meal was this small box that we bought from the store. It was really cute and it had a small piece of everything: Two small rice triangles with different fish on them, a small sausage, half a meatballish thingy, like six strands of spaghetti a chickhen nugget and a ton of small stuff.
We are now in this really nice hotel with a fun swimming pool. There's 37 floors, but we're only on the tenth one... Its still really nice though :)

We are leaving to Taiwan tomorrow and I don't want to leave yet... :'( And its like horrible because I have some thing with the school there and apparently I'll still have some kind of test and im freakin' out! I mean, I already had a three hour entrance exam, isn' that enough? But yeah... Byee :)

Lots of Deer!

Hi,
Today we traveled by train from Nara to Fukuoka. Nara was really awesome, even it seemed kind of small. We visited like five temples at this one huge park and I was suprised how fun it was. It would of been really boring, but the park was full of deer! Like stuffed and they were just hanging out on the streets with the people and waiting around the stores if someone bought deer cookies to feed them. We bought a few packs of the cookies and they just like attacked at you if you wouldn't feed them. They would push you with their heads of try to eat your shirt... But it was really fun!
Me feeding the deer :)
Turtle :D

The lovely park at Nara

And what I found weird was that basically like 60 or 70 percent of the people in Nara were like 70 to 90 years old...

The temples we visited were amazing though! They were so great and big! The best one was called Great Buddha Hall. It had a humungious statue of budda and it was really cool! Then we could buy all these lucky charms. There were a ton to choose from, but I ended up taking the simplest ones for health and happiness. :)

Today we just sat in the train for like five hours and we ate at this restaurant that was " vegetarian style" and the food was actually good.

BTW: It has been extremely hot! Its been like 34 degrees and sometimes it feels seriously burning! I guess I'll get used to it though... :)

Disneyland and High Buildings

So,
Here I am again and these two days have been just as fun as the others. Yesterday we visited Tokyo Disney Resort and it was awesome!!! We didn't go to many of the rides because of the long lines, but we went to Space Mountain. It felt like I was actually in space and it was huge! I loved it. We were also in a few other rides, but they werent that special compared to Space Mountain. Then like everyone there bought these towels with a hood on them. You could buy like different characters and stuff and then all the people were walking around wearing a towel on like a hoodie basically, including me. I bought a Minnie Mouse one. :D Then we saw the parade with all characters of Disney and it was really nice.

After Disneyland we went to this Japanese noodle restaurant and man, those noodles were delicious!

Today, we had a city-day. First we went to Ikebukuro, to one of the biggest malls in the world, calles Seibu. It was humungious! we were going to this restaurant we had been before, and we realized it was on the other side of the mall: it took us 15 minutes to walk the fastest way to the restaurant! But it was worth it because they had one of the best mozzarella and tomato pizzas I have ever had, and I dont even like most pizzas.
After that we visited this beautiful park with a Japanese temple. It was really quiet and peaceful. The gates and the forest around the temple were amazing because it was all very big. :)

At the cafe of the park, we had these cakes that we had bought at Seibu and that cake was THE BEST I have ever eaten. It was like heaven in my mouth. It basically melted the moment it touched my toung... :) After the heavenly cake, we went to this little kids park with eleven colorful slides. I had played there when we lived in Japan. It was interesting to come back to an old memorable place.

From there we went to one of the tallest buildings in Tokyo: Mori Tower. There we went to Starbucks (again) and the most annoying thing happened to me!!! I ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream and when they gave it to me they said hot chocolate, but instead I got a cup of hot milk with whipped cream... -__- And my cup said latte... So, I went to complain and they were all like "Yeah, we'll give you a new one" but no, I got another cup of hot milk... -__- Then I was so annoyed for like an hour about it and I never got my hot chocolate...

Finally we got to the top of the tower and it was amazing to see all the buildings from so high. Then I got all annoyed again because this telescope thingy took my money... I put the money in, but no, it wouldn't go on... -__- The sight was really amazing though!

All in all this day was really nice and interesting! :))
BTW. Harachucku is actually spelled Harajuku. Sorry :D

First Blog

Hi,
I am a girl moving to Taipei, Taiwan from Helsinki, Finland and I was told that i could be writing about what I do and go through there so here I am, writing my first blog. :)
Right now, we are on vacacion in Japan and it has been great! We lived here when I was about six years old and its great to come back. We just arrived about two days ago and we have already done a ton of awesome things!

Yesterday we went to a beautiful park where I get a feeling, that I am not in the middle of one of the biggest cities of the world, but a peaceful and a calming place where i could spend the whole day.
There was a part for kids where they could play and have fun, and then there was a beautiful pond with turtles and koi-fish. I could hear the grasshoppers and the birds and it was very nice.
Then we stopped at a cafe and I had some cappuchino and chocolate flavoured ice cream and it was actually not that good but I ate it anyways...
Later we went to Harachuku and oh, all those stores that they had on one street blew my mind! Gucci, Chanel Dolce & Gabbana, Luis Vuitton... I dont remember all, but that was only a part, but of course they did not have the one I was looking for. They didn't have Abercombie... -_-
Then we went to this street that was filled with stores that were filled with clothes, jewelry and hair & nail accessories and it was hard not to run from store to store just buying stuff.

Well that's about it from yesterday, now today we went to Ueno Zoo and it was loads of fun! It was hot. Like 35 degrees celcius and we weren't sure if we should go if all the animals would be sleeping,  due to the weather, but we went and we were wrong. Almost all we animals were out and some of them were amazing. We saw to giant pandas and man, they were so fluffy and cute! I just wanted to run at them and give them a hug. Then we saw some elephants and some monkeys and the gorillas were cool because some of them were swinging upside down and climbing on things. We also saw giraffes, a hippo, an okapi and tons more. I fell in love with all the small mice that they had at the rodent house, but even more I liked the petting zoo with goats, pigs, and lambs. There were also chickhens and roosters that we could carry around. It sounds kind of lame, but its actually kind of fun.
Afterwards, we went to starbucks and I had a mango slushie or smoothie and it was delicious!

That is it, but this has been such an awsone day that its kind of hard to describe. Hope you like my blog. :)

BTW
The train stations here are awesome and thats my little sister walking around ( lower right corner):D
